Brianne Dorsey

Brianne Dorsey has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2021. Brianne is currently employed at Network Designs, Inc. as a Web Content Specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Their responsibilities include developing and managing internal communications campaigns, curating and editing employee-centric news, managing the agency events and communications calendar, designing graphics, building webpages, and coordinating web communications campaigns.

Prior to their current role, Brianne worked as a Communication and Content Coordinator and Program Associate at Key Executive Leadership Programs from 2017 to 2021. In these positions, they were responsible for coordinating communication efforts and managing content for the organization.

In 2017, Brianne interned at Sirius XM Radio Inc. as a Joe Madison Show Talk Programming Intern, where they gained experience in talk programming. Brianne also interned at the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys as a Communications & Multimedia Intern during the same year.

Before their internships, Brianne founded Demarginalized in 2016, a media organization aimed at amplifying marginalized voices. At Demarginalized, they facilitated controversial conversations and showcased marginalized talent.

In 2015, Brianne worked as a National Program Intern at WETA, where they conducted research, contacted potential characters for a script, and edited script proposals.

Brianne Dorsey earned their Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from American University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Brianne then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Global Media from the same university, completing it from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Brianne obtained certifications in Data Visualization for Marketers from LinkedIn in January 2021 and in HTML, CSS, and Web Design Circuit from General Assembly in January 2020.
