David Bess

David Bess has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role at Neudesic as the Sr. Director of Solutions - Global Energy and Utilities. David previously served as the Director of Solutions - Global Energy and Utilities at Neudesic and as a Technical Client Director and Solutions Architect. Prior to their time at Neudesic, David worked at Intersys Inc. as a Technical Manager and Technical Lead. At Intersys Inc., they led a team, participated in sales pursuits, and defined and built consulting practice delivery methodology and toolsets. David also worked at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, where they held the position of Principal Data Scientist - Chief Technology Office and Data Engineer - Big Data, NoSQL & Search. In these roles, David contributed to enterprise technology strategic vision, project leadership, and the design and development of predictive models. Overall, David Bess has a strong background in solution architecture, technical leadership, and data science.

David Bess attended California State University, Monterey Bay from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they received the SOA/CAS Exam 1/P certification from SOA/CAS. In 2015, they obtained the Certified Apache Hadoop 2.0 Developer certification from Hortonworks. Most recently, in September 2021, they obtained the ITIL (4) Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
