Ignacio Alonso-Rodriguez

Director of Information Technology at Neuroelectrics

Ignacio Alonso-Rodriguez has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of Information Technology. Ignacio started their career as an IT Specialist at Barcelona Consulting Group from 1993 to 1996. Ignacio then moved on to work as a Technical Manager and Barcelona Office Manager at C.T. TAGA from 1996 to 1999. Ignacio joined Merck in 1999 and held roles such as IT Analyst & Technician, where they redesigned and built legacy applications, and IT Projects & Services Manager, where they managed ECM systems and led various IT projects. From 2010 to 2011, Ignacio worked as a Freelance IT consultant and Processes Manager, advising small firms and optimizing business processes. Ignacio then joined Masvisón Grupo Óptico as the IT Director from 2011 to 2012, where they designed and deployed a strategic IT plan to support the company's growth. After that, Ignacio worked at Fresenius Kabi, first as an IT Manager for Spain and later as the IT & Digital Manager for Spain & Portugal. In these roles, they managed all IT functions, implemented various tools, and oversaw a team of six people. Currently, Ignacio is the Director of Information Technology at Neuroelectrics, a position they started in February 2023.

Ignacio Alonso-Rodriguez has a diverse education history. Ignacio attended ISDI in 2021, where they completed a program called DIBEX: Digital Business Executive. This program focused on digital transformation and digital business. In 2010, they attended IESE Business School and completed the PDD-Management Development Program, which provided a general management education. In 2006-2007, Ignacio attended Universitat Ramon Llull-La Salle, where they earned a Master's degree in IT Management. Ignacio'sfield of study focused on IT management.

Earlier in their education, from 2000 to 2005, Ignacio pursued a degree in Information Systems Engineering from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Lastly, from 1988 to 1993, they attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they studied Industrial Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Ignacio has obtained additional certifications. Ignacio is an ITIL Service Manager certified by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) UK and EXIN, and they also hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
