Steve Ramkissoon

Steve Ramkissoon is the current Director of Finance & HR at New Dawn Charter High School. Prior to their current position, Steve Ramkissoon was with ZOOM NY, Inc. from January 2018 to December 2019 where they worked as the Consulting Operations Manager. In this role, Steve Ramkissoon worked with A/E clients in a consulting capacity related to operational effectiveness touching multiple departments including HR, Billing, Facility, Purchasing, Accounting/Finance issues.

Before their time with ZOOM NY, Inc., Steve Ramkissoon was with BAI Canada from January 2013 to December 2014 where they served as the Controller / Operations / HR Lead (interim). In this role, Steve Ramkissoon was responsible for creating, maintaining and managing all financial & Operational systems for a growing Telecom/Construction start-up company.

Steve Ramkissoon began their career with Transit Wireless in January 2011 where they held multiple key positions throughout their 8 year tenure. Some of these positions include Head of Human Resources & Administrative Operations and Controller. As Head of Human Resources & Administrative Operations, Steve Ramkissoon was a key member of the leadership team responsible for building out the organization from a team of 5 to 115 employees.
