Kristen Peterson

Kristen Peterson is a Senior Market & Policy Analyst at New Energy Equity, specializing in research of energy policies and analysis of revenue streams for solar project development. Kristen has significant experience in the energy sector, having previously worked as a Climate Researcher for the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, where a community-level GHG inventory was created, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, focusing on community solar projects. Other roles include supporting sustainability initiatives at the Great Plains Institute and coordinating Green Team efforts for Metro Transit. Kristen holds a Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management from the University of Minnesota.
