Cam Ellis

Cam Ellis has a diverse work experience in the legal and energy sectors. They most recently served as the Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at New Fortress Energy since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate in Corporate and Transactional law at Locke Lord LLP from January to July 2022. From May 2018 to January 2022, Cam Ellis worked as a Managing Attorney at Ellis Consulting Group. They also gained experience as a Corporate Counsel at Sullivan Brothers Family of Companies from December 2019 to July 2021. Additionally, Cam Ellis has a background in the energy industry, having worked as a Project Manager and Field Engineer at TC Energy from 2013 to 2019.

Cam Ellis received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2013. Cam then pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from South Texas College of Law Houston, completing it in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Cam has obtained certifications such as Open Water Scuba Diver from PADI in 2019, Texas Licensed Attorney from the State Bar of Texas in 2018, and Legal Research Certification from LexisNexis in 2017. Cam also holds an Engineer-In-Training designation from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and an Engineering Project Management Certificate from Texas A&M University.
