James Rhodes

James Rhodes has a solid work experience in risk management and credit analysis. James is currently serving as the Vice President of Risk Management at New Fortress Energy since July 2023. Prior to this, James was the Senior Manager of Corporate Risk Management (Insurance & Credit) at Buckeye Partners from December 2013 to July 2023. James also worked as the Assistant District Attorney at Bastrop County from December 2011 to December 2013. Before that, they held positions as a Senior Credit Analyst at NextEra Energy, Inc. from December 2008 to December 2010, as well as at Shell from April 2004 to December 2008. Their career began at Tractebel North America, where they worked as a Credit Risk Manager from January 2000 to April 2004.

James Rhodes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Houston in the years 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Jurisprudence Doctorate in Law from the South Texas College of Law Houston, completing it between 2007 and 2010.
