Job description

At NHS, the Associate Art Director is a maker and a storyteller who uses design to bring ideas to life. The Associate Art Director leads projects into uncharted creative territories without blinking. This role requires a design fundamentalist, who approaches projects with both rational and innovative mindsets. The Associate Art Director extends visual language and is always mindful of both how it looks and how it works. The Associate Art Director reports to the  Associate Design Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under Senior Designers and Art Directors to solve an array of visual and marketing problems
  • Create design boards and identify how to extend the visual language for any given project
  • Assist with the creation of online visual design, typography, visual concept, logos, icons and other interactive platforms
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, as directed 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 0+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience collaborating with Art Directors and Designers
  • Proficiency in Mac OSX, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Acrobat

Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required 

New Honor Society has adopted a hybrid working environment, but the office will remain open five (5) days a week. Employees are expected to be in-office Tuesday through Thursday and can work remotely on Monday and Friday.
