MacArena Moraga

Macarena Moraga, Ph.D. is an accomplished Director of Support Services at New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE). With a background in Anthropology, Macarena has also served in various roles such as Graduate Assistant at the University of Florida and Treasurer at UF Graduate Assistants United. Their academic journey includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Additionally, Macarena has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer of Cultural Anthropology at Spring Hill College and as a Consultant at the Farmworker Association of Florida.
