Greg Bloom

Greg Bloom currently serves as the Assistant Commissioner for Mineral Resources at the New Mexico State Land Office, directing the Royalty Management Division and the Oil, Gas and Minerals Division. Previously, Greg held multiple positions including Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Initiatives in the Office of United States Senator Tom Udall and State Director for Senator Jeff Bingaman, where responsibilities included overseeing initiatives related to public lands and energy in New Mexico. Greg also operated Gregory Bloom Consulting LLC, providing expertise in energy and environmental policy, and held roles at New Mexico State University focused on outreach and program development. Educational credentials include pursuing a PhD in Spanish-language literature at Brown University and earning a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University in Spanish Language and Literature.
