Ami D.

Ami D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Development at New Music USA since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Grant Writer & Development Consultant and an Independent Composer & Performer as self-employed since September 2004. They also worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Oberlin College from January 2021 to September 2021.

Ami has also worked at TBG (The Berndt Group) as the Manager of Marketing & New Business from June 2015 to May 2018. They served as a Donor & Member Relations Officer and Executive Assistant at The Real News Network from August 2012 to January 2014. Additionally, Ami was the Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations Coordinator at Maryland Institute College of Art from November 2009 to November 2011. Lastly, they served as an Assistant for Development Coordination at Heifetz International Music Institute from October 2007 to January 2008.

Ami D. pursued their undergraduate education from 2002 to 2006 at Oberlin College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study during this time was Technology in Music and Related Arts. In 2005 and 2006, Ami also attended Delhi University, although they did not obtain a degree from there. At Delhi University, their focus of study was North Indian classical music.
