David Mendes

Principal Designer Brand Strategy at NEW WORK SE

David Mendes has a strong background in brand strategy and design. David started their career in 2007 at Shift Thinkers, where they worked as a Designer, focusing on brand identity. David had the opportunity to work with global brands such as BP, Deloitte, and Accenture. In 2014, they joined Syndicate Design AG as a Senior Designer, where they specialized in branding and brand experience. Some of their notable achievements include the rebranding of major German brands and creating comprehensive programs for startups. Since 2020, David has been working at NEW WORK SE as a Principal Designer Brand Strategy. In this role, they lead the design efforts for the corporate brand, which includes XING, Kununu, and Onlyfy, focused on improving job matches in the German speaking market.

David Mendes completed a Master Class in Future of Branding at Future London Academy in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Visual Design from IADE, where they also studied Digital Typography Design. Additionally, David has obtained certifications in Unlocking Creativity from IDEO U, User Research - Methods & Best Practices from the Interaction Design Foundation, Design Research from LinkedIn, and Hello Design Thinking and Responsive Web Design & Prototyping from IDEO U and Kulturbanause respectively.
