Matt Darland has over 20 years of experience as a software engineer. Matt started their career at G.E. Team Controls in 1997, where they worked as a software developer during their co-op education. At G.E. Team Controls, they gained skills in porting UNIX source code to Windows NT, multi-threaded/multi-process programming, rewriting proprietary database routines, and integrating Microsoft SQL Server with SCADA systems. In 2000, they joined Thursby Software Systems as a software engineer and worked there until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Long Range Systems, LLC as a software engineer. Since 2010, they have been working at New York Air Brake, Train Dynamics Systems as a software engineer.
Matt Darland attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
