Jessica Bardy

Jessica Bardy has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Jessica began their career as an Academic Tutor at New York University in 2005. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Corps Member for Teach For America, teaching math classes in under-resourced public schools. Jessica then joined D.A. Sokol, Inc. in 1997, initially as an instructor and later becoming the Director of Women's Programs. At Gotham Professional Arts Academy, they served as a Data Specialist, College Advisor, and Math Teacher, where they developed organizational systems and guided students through the college admissions process. Jessica also worked as a Math Teacher, Advisor, and Data Specialist at Essex Street Academy, where they designed project-based curricula and served as a liaison between teachers and parents. In 2010, they joined Math for America as an Early Career Fellow and later as a Master Teacher. In 2016, they interned at the National Park Service as a Summer Consultant, working on business plans and workforce analyses. Currently, Jessica is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at NYC Outward Bound Schools. Jessica previously held roles as the Director of Business Development and Director of Select Strategies at the same organization.
