Sarah Zagoury

Sarah Zagoury is a seasoned professional in the field of humanitarian dialogue and conflict resolution, currently serving as a Project Officer at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue since April 2021, also taking on the role of Project Manager ad interim. With extensive mediation experience at the New York Peace Institute since May 2016, Sarah has expertly co-mediated disputes and contributed to restorative justice processes. Previous roles include Protection Officer at UNHCR, where responsibilities involved developing SOPs for binational protection networks, and as a Protection Delegate at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where strategies for victims of armed conflict were designed and implemented. Sarah's educational background includes a Master in International Relations focused on Human Rights from the Graduate Institute in Geneva and a certification in mediation from the New York Peace Institute.
