Fabio Mantovani has an extensive work history that spans across several companies and roles. Fabio began their career as a Graduate Analyst at SSAB in 2001 before moving on to CADFEM GmbH, where they worked as an FEA Analyst. In 2003, they joined ANSYS, Inc. as an Engineer/Scientist, specializing in Finite Element Analysis. Fabio later transitioned to a Senior Product Manager role at ANSYS, Inc., where they were responsible for product management. In 2010, they joined Powerside as the VP of Product Marketing.

In 2011, Fabio Mantovani joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where they held various positions, including Manager Product Manager, Sr. Product Manager, and Supervising Product Manager. In these roles, they led teams focused on product innovation, specifically in the areas of solar, storage, and energy efficiency. Fabio spearheaded several pilot projects related to solar submetering and smart inverters for solar applications.

In 2017, Fabio Mantovani joined Centrica as the Director of Global Technology Strategy and Innovation, where they established the company's 5-year technology roadmap and supported M&A and venture investment activities. Fabio later took on the role of Sr. Director of Electric Vehicle Enablement for North America, where they led the development and commercial success of Centrica's Electric Vehicle Charging Program.

In 2020, Fabio Mantovani joined the New York Power Authority as the Vice President of e-Mobility before transitioning to their current role as the Vice President of Ventures, overseeing e-Mobility, Solar & Storage, and Virtual Power Plant initiatives.

Additionally, in 2021, they became a board observer and advisor for Skycharge. Fabio Mantovani has demonstrated expertise in the areas of renewable energy, technology strategy, product management, and electric vehicle enablement throughout their career.

Fabio Mantovani holds a Master's Degree in Materials Engineering from Università di Trento, which they obtained between 1999 and 2002. Additionally, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange Program at Luleå University of Technology from 1999 to 2001, where they also pursued a Master's Degree in Materials Engineering. In 2011, Fabio completed an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Fabio has also obtained certifications such as Product Manager Certification PMC-III from Pragmatic Institute and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) in progress from the Association of Energy Engineers.
