District Office Director (district 63) at New York State Senate

James Cerroni has a diverse work experience history. James began their career as an Assistant Retail Sales Manager at PACSUN in 2004 before transitioning to become a Retail Sales Manager at Oakley from 2006 to 2009. James then moved into the political field, joining the New York State Senate in 2009 as a Special Assistant to the Upstate Relations Director. In this role, they managed the daily operations of the Majority's upstate district office and built community-based relationships for legislative initiatives. James then worked at the Erie County Legislature as a Deputy Clerk from 2010 to 2014, where they managed legislative databases and developed agendas. James returned to the New York State Senate in 2014, serving as a Community Liaison for District 63 before becoming the District Office Director. In their most recent role, they oversaw daily operations, managed staff, and built community support. Additionally, from 2015 to 2019, they held the position of Western New York External Relations Associate, where they managed issues and represented the Western New York Conference Senators at various events and meetings.

James Cerroni attended West Seneca East Senior High School from 1999 to 2002 and earned a High School Diploma. From 2002 to 2006, they studied at Erie Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, in 2004-2005, they attended Buffalo State University and pursued studies in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, although they did not complete a specific degree at that institution.
