Lisa Kamm

SVP, Product at The New York Times

Lisa Kamm is the Senior Vice President of Product at The New York Times. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in product management and user experience.

Lisa started their career at IBM in 1998 and held multiple roles over the next 7 years. In 2005, they joined JP Morgan Chase as the VP of CIT GCRM User Experience. The following year, they moved to American Express to become the Director of AmexWeb.

In 2008, Lisa joined Google as the Lead Product Manager for Corp Eng Enterprise Infrastructure. Lisa built the first Google Product team focused on internal platforms, infrastructure, and security. During their 12 years at Google, Lisa specialized in delivering complex products that crossed organizational boundaries.

Lisa is now using their expertise to lead product development at The New York Times. Under their guidance, the Times has released several new products, including a cooking app and a news aggregator.

Lisa Kamm has a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Oberlin College.

They work with Jon Tien - Head of Engagement (Engagement Product), Kate Harris - Vice President, Operations, and Michael Beach - Vice President, Product. Lisa Kamm reports to Alexandra Hardiman, Chief Product Officer.
