Jonathan Mastin

Jonathan Mastin has extensive experience in educational leadership and athletics, currently serving as the Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics for Newark Central Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jonathan dedicated over 19 years to Bloomfield Central School, holding multiple positions including Dean of Students, Athletic Director, and Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach, where a focus on competitive program development was evident. Jonathan also contributed as Chair of the Physical Education Department and as a Physical Education and Health Education Teacher. Additional experience includes an administrative internship and serving as Summer School Assistant Principal for the Ontario County Summer Academy. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Physical Education and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport, along with a leadership certification from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
