Vignesh Krishnamoorthi Kaliannagounder

Vignesh Krishnamoorthi Kaliannagounder, Ph.D., is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Newcastle University, focusing on bioprinting technology since September 2023. Previously, Vignesh served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Jeonbuk National University from June 2022 to September 2023 and as a Doctoral Researcher at the same institution from March 2018 to February 2022, where the thesis involved synthesis and functionalization of ferro-piezoelectric smart nanocomposites. Vignesh's research journey began as a Graduate Research Student at the Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine from June 2016 to December 2017, with a thesis on antibacterial chitin-fibrin nanocomposite gels. Vignesh holds a Ph.D. in Bionanosystem Engineering from Jeonbuk National University, as well as an M.Tech in Nanomedical Science and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Amrita Schools of Nanosciences and Engineering.
