Teril Smith

Teril Smith has extensive work experience in the energy industry. They started their career at OMNI Energy Services Corp., where they held various roles including Corporate Sales and Project Manager/Asset Manager. At OMNI Energy Services, Teril was responsible for establishing corporate relationships with oil and gas clients and supervising drilling and seismic operations. After that, Teril worked at OMNI Energy Services as the Western Regional Manager for Preheat and General Manager for the Rocky Mountains division. In these roles, Teril's responsibilities included team supervision, project bidding and planning, financial forecasting, and business development. Teril also successfully implemented start-up operations in the Rocky Mountains region. Later, Teril joined Lloyd's Register, where they held several senior management positions, including Senior Vice President of the Americas, Senior Vice President of Drilling Inspection Services, and Director of Energy Operations. Currently, Teril is the Vice President of Operations at Newpark.

Teril Smith has pursued a Business Management degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with a minor in Business Law. Additionally, Teril has studied International Business at the University of Phoenix and pursued a degree in Business at the University of Mississippi. Teril has also obtained multiple certifications in areas such as leadership, coaching, and team building from institutions like LinkedIn and The Six Types of Working Genius.
