Leonardo Pereira

Leonardo Pereira is an experienced geologist and mining professional currently serving as the Rock Mechanics and Hydrogeology Coordinator at Nexa Resources since April 2023. Previously, Leonardo held various managerial roles at CMOC Brasil and Vale, focusing on geotechnics, hydrogeology, and mine planning across multiple mining operations. Leonardo's career includes positions as Geotechnical Geologist at Tetra Tech, AngloGold Ashanti Brasil, and Yamana Gold Inc., as well as an Exploration Geologist at Mbac Fertilizantes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from UFOP, and further specialization in Leadership and Strategic Management from FIA Business School.
