Chitra Treinen

Dr. Chitra Treinen is in charge of Nexant’s iHedge FTR Market System product line. Since 2006, she has overseen the development of business requirements, business process design, software development, system testing, production level software delivery, and ongoing support and maintenance of the system.

Chitra is a subject matter expert on all major components of the system, including creation of the network models, evaluation of market participants’ credit and interfacing with external systems, for various North American ISOs and New Zealand EMS.

Chitra holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas (Arlington) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
