Ilan Kadar

Ilan Kadar has worked in the field of Artificial Intelligence for over a decade. Ilan began their career in 2007 as a Machine Learning Researcher at Imaging Machines- the 4th Generation (IMG4) Project at Applied Materials. Ilan then joined Ben Gurion University of the Negev as a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Computer Science and a Lecturer. In 2013, they moved to Cortica as a Deep Learning Group Leader and Senior Computer Vision Researcher. Finally, in 2016, they joined Nexar Inc. as VP AI & Automotive and Director of Artificial Intelligence.

Ilan Kadar completed their education history with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the same university in 2008. Ilan also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science, Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006, as part of the Honors Program for Outstanding Students. Before that, they attended amit high school.
