John Gross obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Radio/Television/Film from The University of Texas at Austin between 2001 and 2005. John also holds certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, including WSET Level 2 - With Merit (2021), WSET Level 1 (2021), and TIPS Certification (2019). In addition, they are a Certified Cicerone® (2018) and Cicerone Certified Beer Server (2016) from the Cicerone Certification Program.
