Mathew Stern

Mathew Stern has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mathew began their career as a Valet at American Valet in 2014 and worked there until September 2015. In the same year, Mathew also worked as a Production Assistant at Naz Today and as an Anchor/Producer on the Overtime Sports Show. During their time on the sports show, they were responsible for anchoring the local sports news, gathering Broll, editing packages, highlights, and making content decisions.

In 2015, Mathew became a Digital Media Intern at Northern Arizona University, where they gained experience in digital media production. Mathew then moved on to work as an Umpire for the Northwoods League in 2017 and as a Spotter/Statistician at 99.1 The Ranch from 2016 to 2018.

Mathew transitioned into the field of recruiting, joining Link2USA (formerly Link2Geek) in 2017. There, they worked as a Recruiter from November 2017 to November 2019, recruiting for various positions across levels and departments, such as Sales, Marketing, Product, Insurance, and Legal. In November 2019, they were promoted to the role of Recruiting Lead and held this position until January 2021. During their time at Link2USA, Mathew developed a strong understanding of Next Insurance's hiring process and worked exclusively with them to source and assess candidates.

From 2018 until the present, Mathew has been with Next Insurance. Mathew started as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter and played a key role in scaling the company from 60 employees to over 300. Mathew recruited for numerous functions and departments, including Product Management, Software Engineering, Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing, and more. In this role, Mathew also contributed to the development of documents and processes that shape the Talent Acquisition team of Next Insurance.

In March 2023, Mathew was promoted to Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Next Insurance, where they continue to contribute their expertise in talent acquisition.

Mathew Stern received their Diploma from Royal High School in 2010. Mathew then attended Moorpark College from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Social and Behavioral Sciences. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Northern Arizona University from 2014 to 2016.
