Victor Trakhtenberg

Victor Trakhtenberg is the VP of Engineering at Next Insurance. Victor was previously the Software Engineering Team Leader at Taboola from January 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they led a self managed team of 6 developers and was responsible for achieving business goals and maintaining high levels of software engineering craftsmanship. Victor also worked closely with product management on the product vision and roadmap, and initiated an internal hackathon with two Taboola groups which resulted in successful projects.

At Next Insurance, Victor is responsible for leading a team of engineers to build intuitive and customer-centric products that are changing the way small businesses buy insurance. Victor is passionate about building strong engineering teams and culture, and has a proven track record of delivering results through people and technology.

Victor Trakhtenberg has a BSc in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Israel Jobs, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Israel Jobs. Victor also has certification from Coursera in Functional Programming Principles in Scala and from 10gen in M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers.
