Ira Ellman

Ira Ellman is a Senior Advisor at NextCap Search. Ira has over 25 years of experience in executive recruiting, and has held leadership positions at some of the world's largest financial institutions. Prior to joining NextCap Search, Ira was a Managing Director at Lee Hecht Harrison, a global leader in outplacement and executive coaching. Ira has also served as Managing Director at Capstone Partnership, a boutique executive search firm founded in 1971. In this role, Ira led a practice focused on Human Resources and other corporate functions.

Ira began their career in executive recruiting at JP Morgan Chase, where they developed the internal executive recruiting function. Ira then went on to lead global professional recruitment at Bear Stearns. After Bear Stearns, Ira served as Director of Recruiting at NovaStar, a nationwide mortgage lender. Ira later returned to the financial sector as Director of Recruiting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
