Frank Yoo

Frank Yoo has a diverse range of work experience in various design and leadership roles. Frank began their career as an Art Director at the University of Michigan, where they led design and production projects for web, print, and interactive media. After that, they worked as a Staff UI Designer at Yahoo!, where they led user experience design for multiple high-traffic properties.

In 2010, Frank transitioned to LinkedIn as a Mobile UX Design Lead, where they were responsible for application design strategy and product design execution. Frank then joined Plancast as a Design Consultant for a short period before moving on to Zimride and later Lyft. At Lyft, Frank held several positions, including Director of Design and Interim VP of Design, where they played a crucial role in building and shipping the Lyft product and leading various design teams.

Frank's next role was at Google as the Director of UX, where they worked from 2018 to 2020. Frank then joined Coinbase as the VP of Design and Research, where they built and led a global UX organization, growing the team significantly across different regions.

Currently, Frank is working at Nextdoor as the Head of Design and Research, a role they took on in 2023.
