Raj Rao

Raj Rao has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Raj started their career as an Operations Facilitator at Regents Review in 2010. Raj also worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Nathan Kline Institute - Center for Dementia Research during the same period.

In 2012, Raj started working as a Graphic Designer in a freelance capacity, which lasted till 2016.

From 2017, they transitioned into the field of design, starting as a UI/UX Designer at IBM iX. Raj worked in this role till September 2019. From October 2019 to March 2020, they served as a Senior UI/UX Designer at IBM iX.

In 2020, Raj joined CBS Sports as a Senior Product Designer for the UEFA + Soccer division. Raj worked in this role till July 2021.

Currently, Raj is employed as a Senior Product Designer at Nextdoor since February 2022.

Raj Rao completed the User Experience Design Immersive program at General Assembly in 2017. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences at Binghamton University. In August 2019, Raj obtained a certification in Travel & Transportation Industry Foundations from IBM.
