Emre Ilke Cosar has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Emre Ilke is currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Nexthink since 2022. Before that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Product Lead at Crunchr, where they were responsible for the product strategy and roadmap, incorporating stakeholders' input, market analysis, and usage statistics, and improving visibility and buy-in.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, Emre worked at Harver as a Product Owner - Data & Matching Technology. Here, they led the re-design and development of the matching engine, resulting in significant improvements in matching success. Emre Ilke also owned the overall business intelligence roadmap to deliver key recruitment insights to clients.

In 2018, Emre worked as a Freelance Product Manager at Toptal for a brief period of 4 months.

Before that, from 2016 to 2018, they served as the Chief of Product & Operations at Pubinno, where they led a cross-functional team to design and mass produce a connected hardware product (smart beer tap) and accompanying iOS & Android apps.

From 2014 to 2016, Emre worked at Monitise as a Senior Project Manager, where they led high-profile mobile projects with budgets exceeding $5 million. Emre Ilke successfully launched major iOS/Android apps that reached 1M+ downloads within a year.

In 2013, they worked as a Project Manager at Pozitron.

Emre's entrepreneurial experience includes founding BagAway in 2011, where they developed reusable shopping bags equipped with RFID. Emre Ilke built the initial prototype, launched a pilot program, and developed the business model and operational framework through market and user research in 2 countries.

Earlier in their career, from 2012 to 2013, they served as an R&D Manager at ITECH.

Emre started their career in 2008 at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where their roles included being a Researcher and a Diploma Thesis Worker. Emre Ilke implemented wireless industrial automation systems, developed a real-time wireless communication protocol, published research papers, and lectured on wireless automation and MATLAB courses.

Emre Ilke Cosar began their education in 2003 by pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University, which they completed in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Power Electronics, Strategy, and International Business. Following this, Emre Ilke Cosar joined Aalto University in 2009 to pursue a Ph.D. in Automation and Systems Technology, which is still in progress. In 2011, they acted as a Visiting Researcher at The University of Tokyo, focusing on Systems Engineering. Additionally, Emre Ilke Cosar achieved the Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) certification from Scrum.org in June 2015.
