Leovigildo Sánchez Casado has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Leovigildo started their career in 2010 as a Researcher/Lecturer at the Universidad de Granada, where they conducted research on network security and taught at the Signal Theory, Telematics, and Communications Department. In 2015, they joined UNIT4 as a Software Engineer, where they developed new functionalities and localizations for the ERP Agresso/Unit4 Business World using various technologies and languages such as .NET, C#, C++, VB6, PowerShell, MSSQL, and Oracle.

Leovigildo then moved to Nexthink in 2016 and held various positions over the years. Leovigildo started as a Software Engineer and contributed to the deployment of Java-based microservices in AWS using Docker and Kubernetes. Leovigildo followed agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and emphasized the quality of the code, including clean code principles and design patterns. Leovigildo later took on the role of Software Engineer & Scrum Master, demonstrating their ability to handle both technical and leadership responsibilities. Finally, they assumed the role of Tech. Lead and focused on integrating the Nexthink system with third-party tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and AzureAD.

Leovigildo Sánchez Casado has a diverse educational background in the field of information and communication technologies. Leovigildo completed their Ph.D. from Universidad de Granada, specializing in the Official Doctoral Program in Information and Communication Technologies, from 2010 to 2014. Prior to their Ph.D., they pursued a Master's degree in Multimedia Technologies from the same university, enrolling from 2009 to 2010.

In 2008, Leovigildo pursued engineering studies at Université catholique de Lille, specializing in Electronics. During this period, they also gained proficiency in French and English. Leovigildo'sundergraduate education was in the field of Telecommunications, as they completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Granada from 2003 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Leovigildo Sánchez Casado has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills. In 2019, they earned the certification of Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance. This certification signifies their expertise in agile project management methodologies. Furthermore, in 2015, they acquired the FCE: First Certificate in English, achieving an impressive score of 186 out of 190 (CEFR level C1) from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
