Lucian Varlan

Lucian Varlan has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Lucian began their career at Topex as a Software Engineer in 1998 and worked there until 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they served as a Software Developer and Project Manager at Kepler. In 2000, they joined Nokia and held various positions such as Senior Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Software Specialist until 2012. During their time at Nokia, they worked on MW Development, Embedded Linux, Qt Development Frameworks, and Symbian S60 development. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Game Developer at Xacti Oy. Lucian then transitioned to Giesecke & Devrient 3S in 2013, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer until 2015. Later in 2015, they joined GE Healthcare as a Software Engineer for a few months before joining Nexthink, where they are currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer in Test.

Lucian Varlan obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electronica Telecomunicatii from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest between 1993 and 1999. Lucian then pursued further education by completing the International Business Administration (IBA) program at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2007.
