Data Scientist at Nextory

Carl Niblaeus has extensive experience in the field of data science and physics. Carl began their career in 2011 as a Guitar Teacher for Täby Kommun, where they were responsible for planning and giving lessons as well as preparing teaching material. In 2013, they started their PhD research in Physics at Stockholms Universitet, where they structured and managed research projects in the areas of dark matter and particle physics. Carl wrote, used and modified scientific codes to do simulations and calculations in order to solve complex problems and analysed simulation data and wrote research papers on results. Carl also taught university courses (in total about 360 hours in front of students), involving lesson planning, preparation of teaching material and lecturing. Additionally, they were an elected representative and voice of PhD students for four years in six boards and committees at Stockholm University. In 2020, Carl began working at Nextory as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer.

Carl Niblaeus has a comprehensive education history. Carl obtained their Gymnasieexamen from Danderyds Gymnasium in 2007, following their studies in the Science program with music profile. Carl then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from Uppsala University, which they completed in 2013. Subsequently, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical Physics from Stockholm University in 2019. In 2020, they also obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera.
