Mike Jaren Yap

Mike Jaren Yap has a wealth of work experience. Mike Jaren began their career in 2014 as the Online Managing Editor Batch 2015 at PEB (Pax et Bonum), the official school publication of LSQC. In 2015, they joined the DLSU Green Media Group as a Creatives. In 2016, they worked as the Creative Director for Print Production and Creative Executive at DLSU Santugon sa Tawag ng Panahon | Premier Socio-Political Party in DLSU. In 2017, they were a Frontend Developer Intern at Cambridge University Press and also held the roles of Founder, President, and Director for UX Education & Consultancy at User Experience Society - DLSU. In 2019, they worked as a Product Engineer at NextPay and as a Core Web Lead at UX Philippines. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at NextPay.

Mike Jaren Yap completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science with Specialization on Software Technology from De La Salle University in 2019. Prior to this, they attended Lourdes School Quezon City from 2011 to 2015. Mike Jaren also has a number of certifications, including Junior Form Function & Class - Web Crash Course from Philippine Web Designers Organization (2019), UXDC Workshop #1: Designing the Structure from User Experience Society (2018), DLSU Technology Summit 2018 from La Salle Computer Society (2018), Lasallian Enrichment and Alternative Program 2017 (LEAP2K17) from De La Salle University (2017), Day of Enrichment and Alternative Learning (DEAL) Facilitator for the Web Designing class from Lourdes School Quezon City (2016 and 2015), and Day of Enrichment and Alternative Learning (DEAL) Facilitator for the Web Development Class from Lourdes School Quezon City (2014).
