Travis Sumter

Travis Sumter, Esq. serves as the Global Head of Employment Law at NextRoll since February 2022, providing counsel on international hiring, worker classification, and compliance with global employment laws. With prior experience as Director of Employment Law & People Compliance at Wayfair and Lead Employment Law Counsel at Facebook, Travis has managed litigation, advised on HR policies, and implemented initiatives for workplace inclusion. Earlier roles include Senior Employment Law Counsel at GSK, where Travis offered legal guidance on employee relations and diversity strategies, and Employment Law Case/Charge Management at Wells Fargo, focusing on compliance with labor laws and risk assessment. Travis holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Florida Coastal School of Law, an ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science from Savannah State University.
