Jon Cox has extensive experience in talent development and organizational effectiveness. Jon currently holds the position of Vice President Talent Development at NFI, where they lead enterprise talent strategy and programs. Jon previously worked at Trinity Industries, Inc. as Director of Organization Effectiveness, Director of Human Resources and Organization Development for Trinity Rail, and Sr. Manager Talent Development. Prior to that, they were the Training and Development Manager at the American Heart Association and the Professional Development Manager at Keller ISD. Jon began their career as a Classroom Instructor and Coach at Denton ISD.
Jon Cox has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Business Education from Texas A&M University. Jon also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business. Additionally, Jon has obtained several certifications including Change Management Certification from Prosci, Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory Assessment, Human Capital Strategist from the Human Capital Institute (HCI), Outmatch Personality Profile Assessment, DISC Personality Profile Certification from The Ken Blanchard Companies, Situational Leadership II Experience - Certified Trainer from The Ken Blanchard Companies, Civil Treatment for Employees and Leaders from Employment Learning Innovations (ELI), Situational Leadership Certified Trainer from The Center for Leadership Studies, E-Learning Curriculum Design and Curriculum Design from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and Executive Coaching from the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
