Colin Burgess

Colin Burgess has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Colin began their career at AXA Insurance in 2000 as a Senior Technical Negotiator. Colin later held various management positions, including Head of Commercial Motor Claims and Senior Unit Manager - Liability Claims. In 2016, Colin became the Head of Motor Technical Claims Operations at AXA. Colin then moved on to AXA Insurance as a Claims Strategy Consultant before joining NFU Mutual in 2019 as the Head of Injury Claims. Colin's roles have involved overseeing claims handling practices, leading teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Colin Burgess attended Samuel Ward Upper School from 1984 to 1988. Following that, they pursued further education at the Chartered Insurance Institute from 1989 to 1991, earning a degree in ACII.
