Jim Black

Jim Black is a seasoned career consultant with extensive experience in guiding executive-level clients through career transitions, currently serving at LHH since January 2023. As the owner and founder of Destination Vocation, Jim employs holistic career coaching strategies to assist professionals of all ages in exploring fulfilling career options. With a background as a professor and advisor at NHTI - Concord's Community College, Jim has provided academic and career support, teaching various science courses while helping students navigate their career paths. Previous roles include career coaching at CareerCOACH™ Services and NG Career Strategy, focusing on career clarity and strategic networking. Jim's career began with a strong foundation in training coordination and program management at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, where curriculum development and environmental business engagement were key responsibilities. Jim holds a B.S. from Rutgers University and an M.S. from the University at Albany.
