Jay Pearlman

Jay Pearlman has a wide range of work experience in various industries. Starting in 1999, they worked at CBS Radio as a Network Administrator and later as an Interactive Content Manager. From 2007 to 2009, they served as an I.T. Administrator at Universal Background Screening, handling network, infrastructure, and database administration. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Windows/Linux Systems Engineer at LogistiCare, overseeing encryption, email security, Microsoft Exchange, and RHEL systems. At GreenSky Credit from 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Sr Systems Engineer. From 2015 to 2016, at Local Motors, Inc., they held the position of Sr. Systems Engineer. In 2016, they joined Axosoft as a Systems Engineer, where they automated product builds and acted as a subject matter expert in Linux, DevOps, security, and networking. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Silicon Valley Bank, first as a Site Reliability Engineer and then as a Cloud Security Architect, providing cyber security advisory services and implementing security controls. Currently, Jay Pearlman works at NielsenIQ as the Principal Security Architect, a position they have held since 2023.

Jay Pearlman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes, which they attended from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021. Jay also holds certifications from ISACA, Red Hat, and Microsoft in various areas of IT and cybersecurity.
