Piotr van de Werff

Piotr van de Werff is an accomplished pianist and music educator with extensive experience in teaching piano and performing. Currently serving as a pianodocent and balletbegeleider at De Nobelaer since October 2019, Piotr also operates a music practice under the name Piotr van de Werff Music since June 2014. Additional teaching roles include positions at Nieuwe Veste, Pianostudio Marlous Nypels, and several other music schools, demonstrating a commitment to music education. As a classical-trained pianist, Piotr possesses a broad affinity for all music genres. Notable performance experience includes the duo Świr, an ensemble specializing in contemporary chamber music with an intimate touch, alongside partner Renée Brunt. Piotr's educational background includes a degree from Fontys Conservatorium and ongoing studies towards a Master’s degree at Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, focusing on creator/performer disciplines.
