Maarten Vlielander

Maarten Vlielander is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of people, processes, and technology. As the Owner of De Verbetercirkel since January 2020, Maarten specializes in supporting organizations in their transition from task-oriented to process-oriented work, enhancing digitalization efforts, and visualizing customer journeys and processes. Maarten also serves as a Lean consultant and Agile coach for various organizations, including Nijestee, RENN4, Openbaar Onderwijs Groningen, and Certe, focusing on process standardization and improvement. Additionally, Maarten has held roles in digitalization and process management at Alfa-college, ROC Friese Poort, TKP Pensioen, New Nexus, and Atos. Maarten holds a Master’s Degree in Digital Communication and Media from the University of Groningen and a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from the International Lean Six Sigma Institute.
