Jacques Rossouw

Jacques Rossouw has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jacques started their career as a B.Pharm student doing vacation work at Clicks Group. Jacques then became an Academic Intern at North West University Potchefstroom Campus, where they gained experience as a pharmacist intern and provided assistance to faculty members. Jacques later joined Pharmacy Direct as a Community Service Pharmacist, specializing in special cases such as organ transplant patients and rare diseases. Jacques then moved on to Envision Africa (Pty) Ltd, where they served as a Medical Device Production Manager, handling regulatory affairs, quality management systems, and production-related activities for ophthalmic medical devices. Jacques also had a role as a Production Administrator at Envision Africa, responsible for procedure pack manufacturing and regulatory matters. Jacques then joined Xenia Pharmaceutical as a Responsible Production Pharmacist and QA Manager before their most recent position at Ascendis Health as a Responsible Pharmacist, Laboratory Manager, and Compounding Head.

Jacques obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Medicines Development from Stellenbosch University, which they completed from 2021 to 2022.

From 2017 to 2018, Jacques earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit.

Jacques also holds a Bachelor's Degree in B.Pharm, which they attained from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 2013 to 2016.

In 2019 to 2020, Jacques received a Certificate in Medicine Registration (Basic) from Quad pharma (PTY) Ltd.

Jacques participated in an online short-course on Project Management Foundations, receiving a certificate from the University of Cape Town in 2017.

Jacques completed their Matric certificate from Hoërskool Eldoraigne between 2008 and 2012.

Additionally, Jacques possesses various certifications including GMP Foundations in multiple areas (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, Auditing, Data Integrity and Computer System Validation, Qualification, Quality Risk Management, and Root Cause Analysis Tools and Corrective and Preventive Action) from the United States Pharmacopeia in July 2020. Jacques also obtained certifications in Microsoft Excel, including Data Analysis using Pivot Tables, Data Visualization, Excel Charts and Graphs, and Advanced Excel Formulas and Functions from Udemy in 2020, with specific months mentioned for the Excel certifications (April and March).
