Alexandru Gherghel-Lascu

Alexandru Gherghel-Lascu is an experienced Validation Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. since September 2023 and has held the role of Scientific Researcher at Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering - IFIN-HH since September 2012. Alexandru specializes in the development and construction of particle detectors, data analysis procedures utilizing C++/ROOT, and Geant4 simulation codes, alongside conducting laboratory and field tests on custom hardware and performing measurements in the particle physics field. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Bucharest (2014-2019), a Master's degree in Nuclear Physics from the same institution (2012-2016), and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics (2009-2012).
