Kassie Herbst, PharmD

Kassie Herbst, PharmD, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. In 2012, they began their career as a Peer Counselor at the Pre-Professional Advisement Center in Brigham Young University. Kassie also served as a Bioethics Teacher's Assistant at the College of Life Sciences during this time. In 2015, they worked as a Clinical Research Intern at the Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research while studying at the University of Michigan.

In 2016, Kassie took on the role of a Clinical Pharmacy Intern at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where they gained practical experience in the field. Later, in 2018, they joined Cigna as a PGY-1 Managed Care Pharmacy Resident. Kassie then continued to work with Cigna as a Clinical Pharmacist and later as a Clinical Program Senior Advisor, a position they held until April 2023.

Most recently, in 2023, Kassie Herbst joined nirvanaHealth | RxAdvance as a Formulary Strategy & Operations Manager, where they currently serve. Their diverse background and hands-on experience in various roles within the healthcare system make their a valuable asset in the field.

Kassie Herbst, PharmD, has a strong educational background in the field of healthcare. From 2014 to 2018, they attended the University of Michigan, where they obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Brigham Young University from 2009 to 2013.
