Shay Gauger

Shay Gauger is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Purchasing Strategy & Supplier Relations at Nissan Motor Corporation since March 2004. In this role, Shay is responsible for enhancing the Purchasing team's strategies and skills while monitoring Supplier Relations performance. Previous positions at Nissan include Director of Supply Chain Management, Technical Assistant to the SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, and various managerial roles in Purchasing, demonstrating strong leadership abilities in production scheduling, inventory control, and supplier management. Prior to Nissan, Shay worked at Valeo, Ford Motor Company, and Honda of America, gaining valuable expertise in program management and supplier negotiation. Shay holds an MBA from Wayne State University and a BBA in Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University.
