Rachel Rice

Rachel Rice has a diverse work experience. Rachel is currently working as a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Nkarta, Inc. since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Morrison & Foerster LLP as an Associate from November 2018 to September 2022. Rachel also had various roles at Morrison & Foerster LLP, including Law Clerk from September 2016 to April 2018, Summer Associate from May 2017 to July 2017, and Summer Associate from May 2016 to July 2016. Before joining Morrison & Foerster LLP, Rachel pursued their Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine from July 2010 to June 2015. Rachel also worked as a Research Associate at Cylene Pharmaceuticals from January 2010 to May 2010 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California from May 2009 to December 2009. Prior to that, they had a Student Intern position at Cylene Pharmaceuticals from June 2008 to August 2009.

Rachel Rice began their education journey in 2006 when they enrolled at the University of Southern California. Rachel pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience, completing their studies in 2009. Rachel then decided to further their education and joined UC Irvine in 2010, where they embarked on a Ph.D. program in Biological Sciences. Rachel stayed at UC Irvine for five years, completing their Ph.D. in 2015. Rachel's educational journey didn't stop there, as they continued their studies at UC Irvine and pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. This part of their education lasted from 2015 to 2018.
