Sevinc Acar

Sevinc Acar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Sevinc currently serves as a Board Member at NN Social Innovation Fund, which is part of NN's commitment to invest in the well-being of 1 million people. Prior to this, they were the Head of Public Markets at NN Group. Sevinc also worked as a member of the Board of Trustees at Stichting De Samenwerking Pensioenfonds voor het Slagersbedrijf and as a member of the Investment Committee at AkzoNobel's pension fund, APF. Sevinc has also been a part of the Raad van Toezicht at Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds Levensmiddelen (BpfL). Their extensive experience in the finance industry includes roles such as Investment Director Fixed Income and Head Beta Investment Grade Credits at PGGM Investments, as well as a Portfolio Manager Fixed Income at a.s.r. and a Management Trainee at Fortis Bank (Nederland) N.V. (now ABN AMRO Bank).

Sevinc Acar has a diverse education history. In 1995, they obtained a degree in International Management- Finance & Accounting from Maastricht University. In 2019, they pursued further education at CAIA Association and obtained a certification as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. In 2020, Sevinc completed the Commissaris en Toezichthouder programma at TIAS School for Business and Society. Additionally, they received a certification in Foundations in Responsible Investment from Principles for Responsible Investment in 2019 and became a CAIA Charterholder in 2020, granted by the CAIA Association. In 2016, they also attained a certification as a Certified Pensioenexecutive from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Lastly, Sevinc Acar briefly studied Betriebswirtschaftslehre at the University of Bern in 1999.
