Joy Hwang

Joy Hwang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as a Member at Knoetic | CPOHQ, starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Nobul since September 2022. Joy also worked as a Consultant at Coalesce Consulting, providing customized services for startup CEOs and companies from June 2022 onwards. Joy gained experience in the tech industry as the Vice President and Director of People + Culture at eSight, a leading vision-platform organization, from December 2021 to July 2022. Before that, Joy held HR management roles at Intelex Technologies ULC and Keilhauer, where they focused on talent management, employee relations, performance management, and recruitment. Joy began their career as a Recruiter at Quantum Management Services Ltd., specializing in finance, administration, manufacturing, and supply chain. Joy also served as a Manager of Customer Services and Sales at Delfa Inc., where they successfully implemented operational changes and achieved sales targets. Throughout their career, Joy has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Joy Hwang completed their Honours Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and Anthropology at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they attended the University of Toronto for an Applied Research Program, but did not obtain a degree. Later, in 2015 to 2016, Joy earned a Post Grad Certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca Polytechnic.
