Bernhard has a background in physics and neuromorphic engineering. He received his diploma in Physics from Heidelberg University, Germany, and his PhD in Computer Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden for simulating sensory processes in brain-like neural networks.
Before joining NODAR, Bernhard worked as data scientist in autonomous driving and robotics startups, and as post-doc applying simulation and optimization techniques to photoacoustic imaging.
